I have been introduced to so many new beauty lines, I am so excited to share them with you guys! I have been showing them on my Instagram stories, but I wanted to wait a bit to write this blog post so I can give you the best of the best. Some stuff I loved, and some I did not. Obviously I would never share beauty products with you guys that aren’t worth the $$$, because let’s be real, beauty is expensive! Some of the products I’m sharing are products I have been using and they are a ride or die piece, and some are new!
Since I am also pregnant, many of these products are clean products – no toxins, no chemicals, and are ethically sourced. Most of the products that I was using before weren’t full of chemicals, but there were things that I used that I can’t use while preggo – salicylic acid, parabens, aluminum, retinol, etc. I am so happy with how many lines I have found that do the job without all of the harsh chemicals. My skin is so sensitive, and normally I need the chemicals to tame it, but letting my skin absorb natural ingredients has tamed my skin of acne, rashes, breakouts, etc. I still get all of the above, but it’s not as bad as it was, and I’ve learned my skin loves LESS on the skin. Less is more, in my case!
Here is a breakdown:
•SkinCeuticals Triple Lipid Restore – HOLY GRAIL. It’s pricey, but I cannot tell you how much it’s changed the softness of my skin for the last 2 years. I don’t use this everyday because it’s very thick, but I do on days after a good exfoliation, or when I’m super dry.
•Bliss Ex-Glow-Sion – This is a new one one that I am really loving. I use this one as my main everyday moisturizer lately because it’s packed with Vitamin C and I love the dewy hydrating feeling it gives.
•La Mer Moisturizing Soft Cream – Love this one so much! It’s a lot lighter than the other two, but it is pricey so I treat myself to this one two days a week! This one feels light and refreshing.
•Clarins Multi Active Night Cream – This is the first night cream I have ever used. I love the thickness of this but it feels more refreshing on than dewy. You want some beauty sleep? This one is a good one!
•Osea Malibu Advanced Protection Cream – This is a new one I just started using. It’s VERY thick, and moisturizing but the main function is anti aging. Once you lather this on, your skin feels youthful immediately.
•Boscia Indigo Eye Cream – I’ve been using this for a little over a month now, and can say this stuff WORKS. It has been brightening under my eyes and my dark circles are practically gone! I use it EVERY morning after my moisturizer.
•Clinique All About Eyes De-Puffing Serum Eye Massage – This is NOT a cream. It’s an eye serum in a rollerball stick. It’s very nice and light. It takes that puffiness away! I use it at night and mornings when needed.
•Lush Cosmetics Eau Roma Water – By far my favorite toner. I’ve been using this on my skin for three years. It smells so good and great for sensitive skin.
•Herbivore Botanicals Jasmine Green Tea Balancing Toner – I use this one after being in the sun all day, to restore the balance of my skin. Also when my eczema is acting up, this is a good one to spray on my neck to tone it down.
•Mario Badescu Facial Spray – I just started using this one, and it’s been working great for me! It’s lighter on the face compared to the other two. I like to spray this in the middle of the day to refresh and get a mid day glow.
•Herbivore Botanicals Phoenix Facial Oil – My ride or die. I’ve been using this for about 2 years and swear by it. If you don’t want to spend TOO much on a facial oil, this is a good one that really gives you a glow! You can also try their other oils with the trio mini pack!
•La Mer Renewal Oil – ONE DAY I will own this. I have gotten many samples of this, and I am obsessed. This would be my special treat myself oil, due to the price, but whenever I use anything La Mer my skin is the best ever.
•Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber De-Tox Hydra Gel Eye Patches – These are the ones I use on the reg. I leave them in my fridge so they are nice and cool under my eyes. For the price, you get a TON. 100% worth it.
•Peace Out Puffy Under-Eye Patches – This is a new one that I recently tried. Total different feeling than the Peter Thomas Roth brand, but this one def took the puffy eye situation away.
•Bliss Eye Got This Holographic Foil Eye Masks – I would say this one is very similar to the Peace Out brand. It’s a little thinner, and has the cute foil stars.
•Lush Cosmetics Cup O’ Coffee – If you want a good morning wake up call, you’re welcome! I have been using this for years and I don’t think I will ever stop. You can even put the mask under your eyes only to take the bags / puffiness away.
•Boscia Matcha Magic Super-Antioxidant Mask – This is packed with so many nutrients, just like your cup of matcha! This is really good for redness. I love this one when my skin needs a vitamin fix.
•Tatcha Violet-C Radiance Mask – When I have dark spots, I use this mask and it totally helps the spots disappear. It’s packed with Vitamin C to give your skin that glow.
•Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Sheet Mask – Favorite sheet mask ever! Love how dewy this makes my skin. I like doing this at night so I can let my skin absorb it all throughout the night.
•Summer Fridays R + R Mask – What I love about this is that it is also an exfoliant mask. The rose petals are so soothing, and really gives you the ultimate spa experience.
•Skin and Senses Clarity Exfoliating Sugar Scrub – This line is 100% natural! I am so happy I discovered this line at the beginning of m pregnancy. This scrub exfoliates the body while moisturizing it as well. When you scrub this on your body, it leaves you feeling like you just put lotion all over as well. I am IN LOVE with this. Fights stretch marks, great for eczema (which I have), and tones the skin!
•Skin and Senses Fearless Body Butter – I don’t go a day without rubbing this on my belly, hips, boobs, and butt. So far I have NO stretch marks, so this is a dream cream! A little goes a long way with this butter too!
•Ouai Rose Body and Hair Oil – I have been using this for years, and still love it to this day. I use it on days I feel super dry, or if I did a spa day at home. I love sleeping with this oil and waking up with a soft glow body.
Now I hope you found this little beauty guide helpful, and you go ahead and treat your self to some new products! Your skin will thank you, I promise!
